When is low tourist season in Queenstown (NZ) ?

 
Normal peaks are Nov-Feb, and again around Aug/Sep for Winter skiing.
 
Early March is a pretty good month - still warm enough and settled enough to do a lot of activities.  But not too busy that it's over crowded.
 
As far as really low tourist season goes - probably around May/June.  No real snow at that stage - but weather cold.
