No, I bought a Maxi at sale price on behalf of a friend. I believe the Minis are good value for money.
 
With the Maxis, I don't like that they have flimsy speaker leads and connectors, but otherwise the sound is excellent at the price and the convenience/looks unbeatable.

On another note, I'd like to put in a WTB: doesn anyone have a 4-pin female balanced plug to speaker wire pigtail adapter they're not using? I'd like to try my phones from a speaker amp I've just purchased.

Wow this makes me breathe a little easier about moving to NZ next year. I thought there wasn't much of an audiophile population there who came online.
 
I'm going to wellington next year for my masters and having to leave behind my setup here at home. But I look forward to discovering new things in the world of high end audio in nz!
