AUSDOM M05 Headphone with APT-X Bluetooth CSR v4.0+EDR Impressions Thread

I think with Bluetooth headphones, with current technology, the quality of sound has to be balanced with the ease of use without wires. Given that these are actually well made and the wireless range seems to be quite impressive, they are really convenient to use.

Because of that, I spent most of yesterday listening to the radio about the house while working and even watched tv with them. It's also nice to listen to podcasts on the move, so I did a lot of listening with them rather than use my posh, wired ones!!

The first Bluetooth headphone to get close to wired quality would be a killer headphone, but the system itself can't help but impact sound. However, ease of use means that mine is getting a lot of use, so it's a good job that they have a long battery life as well!!

I've been trying out the Ausdom ANC7 which is soon to appear and again, this one is a good 'n as well.

Similar in sound to the M05, perhaps a little more 'balanced' sounding actually, with excellent wireless range..... I'm back out in the garden with it!! This one will come with a really nice case and noise cancellation. Being a bit crazy, I sat watching TV on my Ipad next to the washing machine at home and I could barely hear it!! (The washing machine, that is

)

Slightly more comfy pads too.

 Many people will LOVE the external box.  and The carry box is excellent as well.

I'd say so. The external box is cardboard with a string tie, protecting the inner case:-

and the inner case is this lovely fitting, zipped case with a pocket inside to hold cables. The design matches the cup design of the headphone:-

First tests with this headphone shows that the noise cancelling is really good. I sat by a working washing machine with it playing and the machine just disappeared!!

Both the M05 and ANC7 are lovely looking headphones and when the ANC7 finally goes on sale, it will be a great buy. The wireless range of the bluetooth is excellent. I can listen to the Ipod (for instance) with the Ipod indoors and I'm out in the garden!! Quoted range is 10 meters and I get 10 solid. However, it extends a little further as well.

The final production model will be a terrific headphone imo since the sound is balanced and the noise cancellation is so effective. Can't wait to see it!!
