AUSDOM M05 Headphone with APT-X Bluetooth CSR v4.0+EDR Impressions Thread

This looks like the MEElectronics Matrix2 I bought last year:

It looks like the same one,  But MEElectronics Matrix2 and AUSDOM M05 are designed and produced by the same company, who owns all patents and the ownership. So there comes the AUSDOM M05, also there is going to be a upgrade one named AUSDOM ANC7 with Noise Cancelling function based on AUSDOM 05.

I hope so. They're a good option and mine is on my head most of the day and even in the evenings for use with TV when I'm under orders to be quiet because my daughter is asleep upstairs!!! ;)

Hi, thanks for your question.

MEElectronics Matrix2 and AUSDOM M05 are designed and produced by the same company. Amazon paid for it and we keep all patents and the ownership.

So there comes the AUSDOM M05. Definitely, AUSDOM M05 inserts some more Technics and improvement, not the same as MEE.

What's more, there is going to be a upgrade of AUSODM M05,  named AUSDOM ANC7 with Noise Cancelling function.

There is a review wanted this week for AUSDOM M05, we want more Headfiers here can have a chance to enjoy and test AUSDOM  products.

I'm definitely game to review this. I've got a number of sources to try it out wired: iBasso DX50, LH Labs Geek Out 1000, LH Labs Geek Out V2, LH Labs Geek Pulse X-Infinity. I just have my Note 2 for bluetooth listening, but that is a good source, in and of itself.

I listen to a wide variety of genres, so I should have something that everyone is familiar with and some new fun discoveries for folks.

Here's my information:

I try to identify the positives in every device or headphone I listen to, and I give headphones a couple days burn-in minimum using a cocktail of noise and frequency sweeps at night, and music during the daytime listening. I take notes on how the sound changes as the headphones burn-in and note when no more change occurs.

I look forward to hearing more impressions, and perhaps adding my own. :)

i like them TBH. They have a nice balance.

Listening to speech doesn't give a big bloom to mens voices, but actually, deep explosions are there.

I know that Bluetooth as a sound carrier has difficulties as far as sound fidelity goes, but these do a good job with what they receive imo.

I've updated the review with some pics.

Can someone explain the differences between the M03, M04, and M05 as far as sound quality and features? How do they compare to the Bluedio headphones in the same price range?

In fact there is no AUSDOM M03, but you will find that AUSDOM M05 is the best among M -series

The Bluedio headphone is very cheap in the UK, I see and I was tempted to get hold of one and compare. From the UK Amazon reviews though, it looks as though the build isn't to great with people complaining about the headband snapping.

All of the Ausdom range are very well built. The M04s looks like it's built like a tank and the M05 is beautifully made with metal adjusters and good padding on the top of the headband. The rest is rubberised and cleans easily with a wipe from a damp cloth. Even the outside of the cups are covered with a kind of faux graphite padding. I'd say that the build of these is very G ood

The Audio headphone is very attractive in a kind of minimalist way and I'd say would take some abuse!! They kind of remind me of the smaller Sennheiser headphones in that the cups are oval and fit nicely.

I think with Bluetooth headphones, with current technology, the quality of sound has to be balanced with the ease of use without wires. Given that these are actually well made and the wireless range seems to be quite impressive, they are really convenient to use.

Because of that, I spent most of yesterday listening to the radio about the house while working and even watched tv with them. It's also nice to listen to podcasts on the move, so I did a lot of listening with them rather than use my posh, wired ones!!

The first Bluetooth headphone to get close to wired quality would be a killer headphone, but the system itself can't help but impact sound. However, ease of use means that mine is getting a lot of use, so it's a good job that they have a long battery life as well!!

I've been trying out the Ausdom ANC7 which is soon to appear and again, this one is a good 'n as well.

Similar in sound to the M05, perhaps a little more 'balanced' sounding actually, with excellent wireless range..... I'm back out in the garden with it!! This one will come with a really nice case and noise cancellation. Being a bit crazy, I sat watching TV on my Ipad next to the washing machine at home and I could barely hear it!! (The washing machine, that is ;) )

Slightly more comfy pads too.
