Auris Nirvana EL34 Amp in the house!

I am the most curious if they will use EL34 tubes again, or not :)
Or if they will add KT88 to the useable tubes
are the kt77 compatible with Nirvana?
KT77 are internally different than EL34 but electrically the same and therefore should be direct replacements (same for 6CA7)

According to this question, I've asked the founder of Auris before, and below is his reply:

KT77 is not EL34
We designed Nirvana for EL34
You will not get anything better, even worse!

You can change JJ for some NOS EL34 ONLY!

I didnt try anything elses beside EL34 on Nirvana tho~

Good news guys, I’m at CanJam NY 2022, just confirm with Miki, the upcoming Nirvana has same sound, but all leather design, no wood anymore.
But there is new Headonia is coming, too. As new flagship, the new Headonia come with 10w pre channel.
I'm also at CanJam but didn't see Auris there... would love to chat with them however they are present.. how do I connect with them?

Miki at the EarMen‘s table. They don’t bring any Auris amplifier, but they bring some Auris tonearm.

After hearing the Red October today, I can't stop thinking how and where I can park that 68 pound beast. It dwarfed the Nirvana so considerably I was really shocked. It was a revelation (for reference, the Nautiluse sounded great, but on par with the Nirvana to my ears). The 300B on the Red October just opened up the sound stage so radically (mostly, for me, on the VC; but I tried the Susvara and 1266 as well). That said, it is twice the price.... ouch! :)

I agree, but that’s higher levels amplifier. For that price I’ll choice Rivera AIC10.
Nirvana still the best for $5k.

True. It’s not a fair comparison given the different price tiers. That said, usually you encounter diminishing returns, but I admit I cand away feeling like the 12K Red October really was a 2x factor in provement to the 6K Nirvana. Which is a rather incredible achievement given how good the Nirvana is.

(As far as solid state amplificatoon, I had the pleasure of testing the new Ferrum Orr this weekend at CanJam with a Susvara and came away very impressed. It is only $3K including the optional power unit, and is now at the top of my list for a future SS purchase)
