So anybody got to test Taurus against Ragnarok yet? 
From what ive been reading around, it seems like the Taurus is technicly better, but Rag has more omph in the bass?

I will be able to do a head to head comparison with the Rag at the Nashville Meet coming up in September.

I have also heard the Taurus is technically better, the Rag sounds to smooth, would love to compare.

Just a heads up - Taurus sounds great with HE-1000. I haven't decided which output I prefer yet..... while I clearly liked the SE more with HE-6, HE1K is easier to drive and sounds great from both. I'm leaning towards balanced but still not sure.

I found the balanced to be better with the HEK, a bit more body and it expanded the already exceptional soundstage!

I just picked up a pair of HD800s, even with the stock cable and them not being burned in I am enjoying them immensely. I have a Norne Draug 2 in the works, which output do you prefer with the Senny?

Always listened with exact mode...now switched to fine mode. For my it even sounds better...anyone the same experience?

My Draug 2, balanced for my HD800s will be her next week and I already have Drau 2 on my 560s. Trevor has a new silver and copper Litz he is developing, tells me it will dispel all of the silver myths. He is developing it for the HEK, but wants me to try it with my 800s.

For the moment I do use Vega with Taurus MkII and Icon HP8 mkIII - before I did have StudioSix in my collection. Vega does work great with tube-amp. WA6 is not to complicated, so I think it works more or less like my Icon amp. Thumbs up for matching with tubes...
 
You'll get a more romantic (less technical and bit less dynamic) sound! Call it mellow . But very pleasant to listen to...
