That makes sense.

The reason why I thought about amps first was because it was actually easier to do research than HPs... I understand everything comes down to subjective experience and preferences. But all the info out there with what makes a good entry point HPs is just ridiculous...

For me, it's mostly sitting in front of my computer all day and when I am on the move, I do travel around. So portability has a lot to do with HP choice.

DAC/amp, I wanted to start with something I could grow into a bit before moving into more serious territory.

Which one do you think is the best to pair with a Sennheiser HD600?
- O2+ODAC COMBO
- C5D AMPLIFIER+DAC
 
Do you have another suggestion in this price range?

I have no experience with the DragonFly so I can't say but I do think that nothing beats a good desktop setup.
