Aune S17 pro

.... I'd rather (i) keep the ambient temperature low, (ii) keep the audio equipment on tall stable feet, (iii) provide external air flow, than have a fan of any type so close to amplification circuitry.
.... does class A + internal fan seem akin to driving a car with feet on both accelerator and brakes? 🤔🤪😒

Did you hear it? How is sounds in comparison to S17 Pro?
I’ve listened to same songs (not my choice) on it and s17 pro evo and could not hear a big difference. That just means that for my hearing and my headphones (he6sev2), pro evo is more than enough.
Looking forward to reading the reviews and comparisons to the FL amps.

Well we will wait for the review on performance. There are some really excellent ones around that price range and stiff competition indeed. In my case, much lower priced Schiit MJ3 (vs this new amp) vastly outpaced S17 Pro. I would hope it at least matches MJ3 and giving it more oomp to handle something like Susvara, Tungsten. Even that might not be sufficient at that price range though.

The beast is here. Aune A17. Pure class A.
Not yet finished but it sounds awesome even at this stage.

I’ll be interested in following your experience with the A17, will you be using it with both IEMs and over-ears?

The S17 already can drive the Susvara completely fine, Tungsten needs a lot more voltage, we´ll need to see what are it's specs at 155 ohm and/or 300 and 600 ohms respectively to see if it can deliver more voltage compare to the S17.
