Also, the "pop" sound when playing back DSD128 files is either greatly reduced or totally eliminated.

Have anyone spotted some issue when playing back 24bit 352.8khz files......well when I played it back, there is loud hiss sound at the background and also pop sound.....can you guys try it out for me too?

I have the normal Monk Plus and the sound doesn't fit my preference. They sound too dark for me. I haven't tried the balanced though.

Also, anyone please kindly do a check on DXD (24bit, 384kbps) playback....I have noticed issues which are loud hiss at the background and pop sound throught the whole track. Please check on this issue, thank you.

In my opinion, VE Monk Espresso balanced, sound much better than Ty hi-z balanced, but the same Ty hi-z were very demanding in the selection of foam rubber, ideally come from VE ...

Just placed my order for an M1S. If it works out, supports 256GB MicroSD and does better "balanced out" for headphones and output to my RA2B... then, Fiio X5iii is going up for sale.

The X5III in my experience doesn't have that transparency, separation, and stage width that the M1s has. It does however, beat the M1s in stage depth, and bass area. If you don't mind having less features, in compensation for higher sound quality, then the M1s is a great value IMO.
