yeah charging is pretty quick. not sure if that fast but not slow. next time i'm down i'll charge it and let you knowThis thing throws me back into early 2010s. OG Aune M1 had awesome SQ, didn't want to read half sd cards out there, supported only .wav and had the worst possible UI. I borrowed it for a day, but couldn't live with it.
I might just get this one mostly because bluetooth. How is receiving quality here? And no LDAC, just aptx hd?
And does it support any type of quick charge? 6 hours is ok if I can charge it to 80% under 30 minutes.

I have a problem with my player. I was listening to my music and suddenly the music stops and this screen appears. Rebooting doesn't help. I can read my card on the player and on my MacBook. But whenever I choose a song this screen appears. I also rebooted the player. Nothings works...

Thank you. Now I understand. Formatting the SD Card helped. Now everything works again.

OK, order placed. I just learned that there is third party software to download tidal playlists/albums as flac. This fixes all and any issues I may have with this player.

I just got it. So do I understand correctly that the player does not connect to PC for file transfer? I need to connect sd card separately, upload music there and then plug it into the player?
That's a huge wt f. Good news that it consumed my 500gb Sandisk that I used in zx300 for years without any problem. Let's see what this little guy is capable of.

But the (real diehard) audiophile must suffer

Ergonomic wise, they're a lot of limitations. But sound and musical wise, this DAP is my reference.
Against a lot of so said (very hyped and expensive) "references" (R8, N8II, etc)...

oh yes, they did something very clever with it. I'm one of those people who usually can't hear a meaningful difference between sources.Yes it is.

Aune definitely did some sort of DSP trickery here, it sounds distinctly different. But I really like it so far. Also dead quiet black background with sensitive iems.

The FPGA architecture works to sound it in such ways.

Same here. My choice of DAP for testing IEMs. So good.Yes it is.

mine seems to fully charge in just over an hour. cheersThis thing throws me back into early 2010s. OG Aune M1 had awesome SQ, didn't want to read half sd cards out there, supported only .wav and had the worst possible UI. I borrowed it for a day, but couldn't live with it.

This + Ripping Tidal Playlists + Bulk Rename utility (the player will play track 111 before track 12, so you have to rename 12 to 012) = I doubt I would ever use bluetooth.
Caveat, I only listen to IEMs so I don't need a lot of power from my sources.
And M1p sounds surprisingly 'better' than my trusted old Celsus Companion One. Pretty much every other thing I've listened sounded either worse (high noise floor) or approximately the same (wire with gain). But this thing does 'something' to the sound, specifically 3 things: bass impact, soundstage/separation and upper mids.
I can hear new things on Daft Punk - Motherboard (one of my test tracks) with this, which weren't retreived by any other source that I have heard.
@AuneAudio can you add ability to play/pause with screen off? This is the only annoying thing about this player that I cannot work around.
