A review of the “Aful Explorer”
Recently Aful released a new set called the “Aful Explorer”. So how is it and is it any good? Firstly, what is it? The Explorer is a budget hybrid iem with 2BA+1DD, coming in at 120$.
Price wise, stock accessories are very good quality, build and design is great, fit and comfort is pretty good. Talking about sound signature, it has a balanced sound wuth sub bass boost. The bass is string and dominant but not over powering, the mids is thick and rich, and the highs are smooth and lush but not dark.
Back to the main question is it any good? Yes, this is very unique at this price range considering the tuning Aful has gone for. If you want a very relaxed set that is just perfect to put on some tunes in the background, you should check it out.
For a more detailed look check out my full review on this set on headfi: https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/aful-explorer.27201/review/35110/
Thanks…

A review of the Dunu DaVincj
The Dunu Davinci is a 300$ hybrid iem, made in collaboration with Gizaudio. Inside we see a 4BA+2DD hybrid set up. In classic Dunu fashion this comes with high quality accessories in the box. Build & design is great and fit & comfort is good. Dunu has gone for a warm balanced to mild U shape tuning. This has a smooth, easy going and balanced sound with good engaging bass. What I find interesting is the midrange performance, unlike other similar U shape sets this retains a nice extension through out without being too in your face. So is it any good? In my opinion, this is the best easy going set in the sub 300$ price range. Whether you are an audiophile or general audio enthusiast, I think you will enjoy it either way.

A review of fhe iFi Go Link
The iFi Go Link is a budget friendly dac dongle coming in at $60. It features a well constructed design with a type C to 3.5mm connection, and includes additional lightning and USB adapters for versatility. This has a standard power output of 70mw at 32ohms, this will be able to drive majority iems and efficient headphones, but power hungry gear are not suitable. Inside, it uses a ESS Sabre dac, ESS9219MQ/Q to be specific. Interestingly, despite using an ESS dac, iFi has managed to retain its signature sound profile, similar to their Burr Brown dac based products. Tonally the Go Link delivers an organic, rich, and musical sound with punchy bass, although its technical performance is fairly standard.
In terms of value, the iFi Go Link is a great choice if you are looking for a straightforward, high quality 3.5mm dac. However, if you need more power or a balanced output, ChiFi dacs might be a better alternative.

A review of the Kiwi Ears KE4
The KE4 is the latest release by Kiwi Ears, and it has been getting a lot of hype. So what is the KE4 and most importantly is it worth the hype? The KE4 is a hybrid iem with 2DD+2BA driver configuration, coming in at 200$. Build and design is decent, fit and comfort are good, packaging and accessories are decent. In terms of sound, Kiwi Ears has gone for a more well bodied, warmer, a bit relaxed version of the Harmon tuning with sub bass boost. I personally find this “new meta” tuning to be quite pleasing and very versatile and I think both general consumers and more experienced audiophiles will enjoy. Thus I can say it is totally worth the hype.
