I don't know why but when I use this on my dvd player optical out the sound is quiet.
Wondering if maybe I have to set the player output setting to something special or what. It's on pcm now...I couldn't get sound to play with it on linear.
I'm at work now but I am going to try an audio cd in it when I get home to see if it is related to the dvd's. Maybe it's because it's getting a surround sound signal and it's just not right.
The thing sounds GREAT on the pc. I listen at 3/4 most of the time or less. Max volume is a lil loud on the high notes.
I can see how this is like the start of a journey into high end sound...the quest for better and better lol
