Jason, I know this isn't headphone related and off topic, what speakers are those In pic #5 from the top.?The always fun Mad Mike Martin of Pimp My Ride fame with the McIntosh Team and TSAV Team but we lost @TSAVAlan somewhere . AudioCon Rock’d it
I've never heard them for myself, but @HungryPanda owns the Ragnar Edition if you'd like to hear his impressions.Oh wow, you're absolutely right. I wonder how these things are? Anyone have an clue?

I also love the source, andI love the Source! Wish I could make it down
so some said it was the best headphones he ever heard just a few posts ago? Even better than 800/S. Keeps in mind, 820 is closed back, and it will carry that typically closed back characteristics with it. My best bet is that it is....what it is....the 800/S in a closed back with (closed back characteristics)Any impression on HD820?

I agree, sound performances when mixed up with personal preferences will always result in interesting conversations . Also if anyone can make me sell my house to have a high-end speaker setup on an empty land lot and a hut, it would be the source
Would u consider HD 820 is the successor of HD800s or just a close back downgrade HD800S?Really? Some said it’s the best they ever heard? I hope the production piece is good. The prototypes havent wow’d me yet.

Fair question but not fairly answered since no one has really heard the finished product really. I was told this morning that final voicing is completed and the production pieces should be shipping mid month.
