It looks like the RKV owners sold off their amps and went into retreat ?

isn't the rkv an all tube design? or is it opamp input? when i heard it the sound was pretty good except for its rolled off highs and the bass was a bit much. maybe because it has so much output power?

Did you use the impedencer ?

I think there's more than enough high when the RKV is upgraded with OPA627/637.

It's a tube buffer inside the feedback loop of an opamp. To learn everything you could want to learn about the way it works : HeadWize: DIY Workshop > Is this amp inverting or non-inverting ?
