I am an idiot. Broke the pins on one side of my IM70s when removing the cable and putting it back in.

Probably am going to have to buy new ones unless AccessoryJack is willing to send me new ones, which judging from the comments on the site's customer service is unlikely...

Well, just got the IM70's for a good price of $100 (Aus) new, so couldn't pass up the deal!

Congrats @volly   I got mine 2 months ago in Singapore for SGD138 (about AUD115) so AUD100 is indeed a good bargain. Just make sure you got the bundled Comply T400 tips though.

Yes please do. Don't forget the tips rolling and the initial minimum 24 hour burn-in. It took me two weeks to find the right tips that match my ears and what a big difference the right tips make! You will love the sound of vocals and the imaging as well. Particularly if you like accoustic music, you will love this IM70 for sure.  Snare drums, cymbals, classical guitars and flutes sound amazing.

When removing cable from IM50, remember to tilt the connector downwards before pulling them out

In general I suppose it's for replacing a defective cable or upgrading to a better one. In my case it was just me being stupid showing off to a friend that the cables were detachable. I managed to do something very wrong there...
AccessoryJack advised me to buy a new one, because a paid warranty would be too much of a hassle. Oh well, lesson learned for now I guess...
