So I have a par of the ES 10s and I love the depth and sound stage, my only complaint is their comfort after about an hour or two of wear. I've been reading mixed reviews about the P7s in comparison in that he ES10s have a much better range especially when paired with an amp.
My question, should I buy the ES 11 cushions which are apparently more comfortable or get the P7 or something else. I need them closed because I will be using then out, looking to spend 400 but would do 500 for the right pair.
Also have the UE 900s for IEM and I find them to be amazing once broken in.

Hi there :)

I've been contemplating the same thing, though I have already swapped the stock pads to the ES 11 pads. It does help though I still wouldn't call these comfortable by any means. A shame, as I do agree with you on the quality of sound (in fact, AT is probably my favourite headphone brand).

I haven't found many comparisons between the two, perhaps because the ES-10s aren't that popular nowadays. I also haven't been able to find a P7 stockist as yet so I am just going off impressions at the moment...
