so m50's is not a studio monitor?! it's a loud speaker? i''ve seen the review about m70x they are clearer, but what is the bass diference compared to m50x? is there any one who makes a high quality record from these? please will you help me if i send you a song, will you test it for me? all i want to know is, i listen to this type of music, and how it sound for you. i will send you the song via email in flac format. the song is Akcent - That's My Name, its a house song. "so it's not so bassy" it's a very special type of music that comes from Romania.

Personally, I would use the MSR7 or M70x for mixing/mastering process because of their excellent detail retrieval and M50x (or R70x) for listening to the completed product. The M50x have a sort of "balanced" sound (bass are a bit emphasized) down to the subbass levels, that reminds me of the sound of loudspeakers. Overall they have a nice sound, but I don't consider them accurate, specially when compared to the MSR7. Though the R70x can't reach as  low as the M50x, they reach low enough to provide exquisite musicality and they are by far the most comfortable. Can't say much about the M70x though.

does r70x have magical mids/vocal like hd650 ?

how does the r70x pair with bottle head crack ?

which one is better ?
r70x+bottle head crack(or any amp with price up to crack) vs hd650/600+bottle head crack ?

I have the HD600 and think that the HD600 has more engaging mids, though the R70x has better clarity and detail. The high impedance of the R70x should allow them to pair nicely with the Crack.

As for your last question that's impossible to answer because it's subjective.

+1 on the HD600 vs R70x comparison.

HD600 deserve a refresh, as do DT880 (a T80 perhaps?) and K712 sort of replaces the K701.
However, the R70x really took the spotlight in the category of holy trinity...

Listening to both the R70X and AD900 right now, and I prefer the AD900 hands down. The R70X's bottom end just isn't good enough to sacrifice the breathiness you get with the AD900... And the rest of the sound isn't anything special. You're basically paying for the featherlight design.

I also preferred the R70X over the AD2000X...

AD900 ($200) > R70X ($300) > AD2000X ($400)

Are replacement pads available yet for these? Don't need a pair right now, just looking for a space set in case.

Ok, these are a little small for my ears. Do we know of any velour pads that are bigger/plushier but do not significantly change the sound profile (and fit)?

Looks like those change the sound profile. I would rather deal with somewhat small pads and keep the awesome sound. Thanks though.

I've been using the brainwavz pads for a couple months now, and It wasn't until I went back to the stock pads that I realized just how much they alter the sound.  The brainwavz pads create a slight boost in the mid bass and a little reduction in midrange dynamics to my ears.  The slight improvement in comfort with the larger pad is not worth the trade off in sound quality IMO.
