These definitely benefit from a burn in period. Was unsure about them initially. Much better now after 20 hours.
How did they sound to you out of the box? To me they didn't sound bad @ all. These definitely benefit from a burn in period. Was unsure about them initially. Much better now after 20 hours.
How do you compare them to the Sony MDR 1000X ?How did they sound to you out of the box? To me they didn't sound bad @ all.
These things reveal alot more details than the Sonys. I mostly listen to Jazz & R&B & there's guitar notes I've never heard before in songs I've listened to a bunch of times. How do you compare them to the Sony MDR 1000X ?
I'm about to click on pay for the ATH-DSR9BT
thanks
Great review thanks you.
I saw that you listened to the dsr7 also.
Sound wise how is the dsr7 compared to dsr9? I will be using wired most of the time and listening not only high red music but also youtube etc.
Thanks
However, although as far as I can see, the (amount of) plastics on the 9 are similar (wobbly buttons and supposedly squeaky cup-connectors) , in your review you mention the built quality is much better on the 9. Can you/anyone confirm that the 9 squeaks a whole lot less than the 7?
