I'm busy this weekend but if I get the chance I'll try scraping the remaining leather off my stock A900 pads (almost all of it is gone already) which I think will leave me with A500 pads, which I'll try with the AD700.  I replaced my A900 pads with leather pads meant for a W5000.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but any pics of the 668B pads on the AD700?

thank you for the thread necro. I always thought my ears were defective or something because I keep swearing the bass from the ad700 is not as bad as everyone keeps saying.

anyways I've shoehorned velour pads from a corsair headset onto it and notice that the sound is a bit darker and deeper on the side that was changed.
