Hi, i literally just joined because i've been going nuts about purchasing headphones. I've looked at almost all the recommended ones like the m50, DT770, DT880, HD600, HD650, AD- 900X, AD-1000X, HE-400, MDR-MA900, and i just cant choose. For the amp, i plan on getting the modi/magni combo.. but i'm open for other suggestions. Which set would be the best bang for buck? I'm looking for quality built and comfort. I listen to hip hop, rock, classical, jazz. My budget isn't great.. i don't want to spend over 400 total.. but if its worth it i will consider. Please help. Thank you.

Well I can tell you now that the AD900x and MA900 did not cut it out for me.  Contemplating on the AD1000x and HE-400, as the DT770/880 are not really worth their going price to me.
 
Problem is, I have no idea how the HE-400 compares to my previous headphones!
