Very interesting.

I had such a good time enjoying the ESW10s and still consider them as the best portable headphones. Not sure if I like the titanium or not. Will try to give the ES10s a shot when they come out.

I doubt anybody knows that yet since none have heard them. It'll be hard to beat the ESW10JPN.. it truly IS the best portable headphone, and can mix it up with $1000 headphones too.

I can tell you right now though, that the ESW10JPN looks a lot better with the black cherry wood rather then just... cold metal.

If the ES10 sells well and im very sure it does, it's 100% sure that AT will release another wooden portable based on the ES10 with 53mm drivers.. and if that one also sells there'll be the limited version of that... i'll wait for THAT one

I find them pretty sexy, I like titanium, it reminds me of a terminator. I definitely give them a try. I have a esw9 and I like them. So maybe I will like them too.

whack a silver cable on it and that would be seriously sexy!! I love wood as much as the next guy (possibly moreso) but I can also appreciate the look of clean CNC machined alloy.

and also Bo, thats a seriously big statement, and one I disagree with totally, I find the ESW10's to be a bit lacking body personally, but hey thats what this place is all about; different points of view. I do wonder if my view of the ATs would be exacerbated further with these titanium things. the lack of a true resonant character I miss in them, will be x10 with a totally metal everything.

From what I read from this news, the editor wrote that he was surprised by the rich and huge bass response. Highs are well extended, less colored, clear and crisp. Overall balance is very nice.
