Turning on - first streamer (source) then the DI20HE and then the DAC?

Turning off - first DAC then DI20HE then streamer?
Yes it is something that is well known in music studio. Prevent "pop" sound. Starting from the speakers, then all the way into the computer.

Turning on:
1. Source
2. DDC
3. DAC.
4. AMP
5. Speakers

Turning off:

1 Speakers
2. AMP
3. DAC
4. DDC
5. Source.

What do you mean ? I have a Roon core and an Eversolo DMP-A6, I experienced same problem when I connected the DAC directly to the PC...
Does it happen in all music player software when only connected to pc with USB?

Foobar Jriver etc.

If you have not I would try reset/reinstall the firmware

A MUST for my experience with Audio-gd. Simple powerstrip with DC filtering/AMP and added Noise filtering/DAC/DDC on other sockets of the powerstrip.

Changing the socket didn't help... I have IFI Powerstation... Which DC filterning and noise filtering do I need?
There should be no problem with iFi Powerstation I had it and its wonderful. Add Furutech Flux-50 NCF to its main connection, and it will boosts its potential.

Im afraid you have a defect DI20HE.
