My setup is:

Headphone: Sennhieser HD650 (using zynsonix balance cable)
DAC: Audio gd reference 5 (using USB)
Amp: Audio gd roc
Audio source: Itunes-100% WAV format

I wanted to connect my reference 5 to my roc with a pair of xlr cables and i saw an xlr cable made by audio gd themselfs but there is nothing on head fi that talks about audio gd cables so i wanted to know if they are good or not?

I ordered their digital cables, price wise the Blue jeans were costing about same.

What is the reason you are not using the ACSS cable.

Since you have a fully balanced setup, you should use XLR.

Unless the ACSS output on Ref5 is balanced...

ACSS negates any (arguable) need for fancy cables, as the signal is transmitted in the current domain instead, where components don't affect it as much.  Using it also bypasses the current-to-voltage stage in the Ref 5, and voltage-to-current stage in the Roc, which should result in the lowest distortion of any method of connecting the two together.
