Audigy2, gold jacks or plastic jacks?

I noticed that on the OEM version it doesn't have the gold plated jacks, will this provide any audible difference. I would imagine not as the material of the jacks probably isn't the weak link when using a pc as the source

You won't be able to see the material of the contact inside the jackhole unless it's a big close-up straight into the hole. Whatever is outside the hole is just decoration. If your jackholes have multicolored plastic rings around them that doesn't mean the contacts are plastic

In OEM they are only silver/something else -plated.. so they corrode -> need cleaning. No other difference between "normal" and gold plated jacks.
