There was a firmware update available for both when I unboxed mine today.

How do you update the dongle? Also Im guessing the volume bheing low on the xbox version something that is being addressed?

You need to plug the dongle into a PC or Mac and use AudezeHQ to update

I did that, but the HQ app does not recognize anything plugged in. Hmm...
Edit: Make sure you switch to PC and do not have any cables plugged in to headset. Getting firmware now.

Maxwells are my favourite headphones for music listening now. Like them more than my LCD-2 Classic (sold them yesterday) and Bowers & Wilkins PX8. Bass boost EQ sounds just fantastic with metal music.

I am surprised by how much I like it for music, and it has more or replaced my other gear in that regard.

I hope they will consider releasing gaming in ear buds in the future as well, no one seems to be doing anything in that arena.

For anyone that's interested...I've settled on this for warzone 2....came across it on Reddit, it's a Penrose Eq but works well on Maxwell..this combined with the setting headphone and not headphone bass boost in warzone settings works extremely well, the directional audio is by far the best I have heard as of yet

So I got my Xbox version today and was going to do a firmware update. Am I crazy or am I on a newer version than what it's trying to update me to? It's the same for the dongle.
