thats why I didn't pre order, will pick it up locally from a dealer once he has it. that way no chance of something happening lol
I am okay with it. I just wish they would of told me I would need to be home to sign it. I am happy I looked on UPS to see Signature Required because if I didn't I wouldn't of been home and no one else would of been home.

My shipping label printed today. Hasn't been dropped off yet, but a good sign. I ordered December 12th.

Also, I'd encourage people to check their promotion or even spam folder. Gmail did not send the email to my primary folder, I had to dig through a bunch of promo junk to find the Audeze email.

Niche question regarding Dolby Atmos:

I am a PC Gamer and don't own any consoles but I do want the Dolby Atmos features. It is my understanding that both headsets would be identical to me as long as I bought the Dolby License for the PS Version.
Does the Xbox version have the license embedded in the software or does it come with a code of some sort?

The reason I ask is because I have a LG C1 OLED tv and was wondering if it would be possible to get dolby atmos using one of these headphone versions streaming netflix or something similar without needing to use an A/V Receiver.

There is some code embedded in the dongle that tells the Atmos renderer on Xbox and PC the unit has a license. Does the TV have an inbuilt Atmos decoder ? Initial answer if it would work with TV is a no, since the embedded decoder doesn't know how to talk to the dongle.

If you are at the Florida Audio Expo (https://floridaaudioexpo.com/), we have both PS and Xbox versions for demo

Got it.
So if I buy a license for the PS version does that license also get embedded into the dongle at that point?
If it's in the dongle I assume it won't work. I would need to use the 3.5mm jack or bluetooth to connect them to my TV.

Thank you for your reply!

The Maxwell PS version does not come with a license because Sony does not support Dolby Atmos for Headphones (they use their own proprietary Tempest 3D spatial audio). At this time, only Windows and Xbox consoles support Dolby Atmos for Headphones. If you purchase a license, it is linked to your Microsoft/Windows account.

Might not be able to sign up in time for this order, but you might want to sign up for UPS My Choice for the future. You can often sign in advance or have a package rerouted to a pick up location so you don’t need to be home
