And it's the exact same thing that happened with Penrose X. Thought they would have figured it out this time. I initially was optimistic, but no so much anymore. Ain't no telling when we'll get these things .That sounds grim for Xbox orders

AudezeWill the current EQ's for the Penrose be optimised for the Maxwell?. There are 6 pre defined ones isn't there? 2 are default and alternate what about the other 4?. You mentioned like the Mobius so are we talking Footsteps, Ballistics and RPG?.

Just checked Penrose thread. That certification can take like months. And it's the exact same thing that happened with Penrose X. Thought they would have figured it out this time. I initially was optimistic, but no so much anymore. Ain't no telling when we'll get these things .

Hopefully that was because it was their 1st headset on console. I just hope being their 2nd headset it will be faster. Let's hope those 10k laid-off MS doing won't effect speed.Just checked Penrose thread. That certification can take like months.
would be more apt. That sounds grim for Xbox orders

I will write "Maxwell" on a note card, tape it to my Penrose, and pretend I'm listening to the latest technology.

so since there’s no app for iphones, could set some eq’s on the headphones via the PC, then use them to listen to music in the iphone? thxYou don't need to hold the wheel.
For EQ, you double press the wheel inwards, and the voice prompt will say 'EQ". Then as you adjust up/down, the voice will mention which EQ preset you're in.
Audeze
Alternate,
etc, etc,
up to the last 4 being Preset 1-4 (the user configurable ones).
Once you made your selection, after a few seconds you'll hear a subtle beep, which means you're back to the normal volume adjust.
Any adjustment where you have to press either wheel in gives you about 5 seconds to make an adjustment. If you make an adjustment at that time, the 5 seconds refreshes. After 5 seconds of not doing any adjustment, you'll hear the beep meaning you're back to Volume control on top wheel, and Game/Chat balance on bottom wheel.
Note that Game/Chat balance is only for Xbox and PC. Unfortunately, due to proprietary Sony reasons, we can't incorporate it on Playstation.
Thanks for the update. Some news is better than no news so much appreciated. Like the other folks here I can wait. Much rather have a finished product than otherwise!
@Mad Lust Envy are you allowed to give impressions on the sound? I'd love to hear how it is compared to the Penrose.

The PC should have a app to change the EQs and once you do they save so you can use anytime on anything.so since there’s no app for iphones, could set some eq’s on the headphones via the PC, then use them to listen to music in the iphone? thx

Well it has Bluetooth so yes. Its just the software which can't be used on an iphone.so since there’s no app for iphones, could set some eq’s on the headphones via the PC, then use them to listen to music in the iphone? thx

I just own Mac devices, so the Audeze HQ app on my iPhone won't connect with Maxwell? Im a little confused how Im able to tune for consoles or I can't. There's nothing like the SteelSeries GG engine that lets me set the tune, save and use it on console?
@Helvetica bold You can do it on your Mac but not on your iPhone.
