This has much more ear gain than the legacy ones, and more bass/tilt. But that being said it’s similarly wonky as the legacy ones

I was about to say the same thing. Old Audeze was famous for having a pretty flat response in the bass and mids that lead into a recessed ear gain region. They had a very dark character, IIRC.
