AUDEZE LCD-Pro

Are we sure about that? Earlier posts mention the $1.2K price point from a rep and pictures from page 1 have LCD Pro written on the side. The LCD-MX4 is supposed to be a lightweight LCD4, so no way is that going to be in the same price range... I'm really hoping it's not the same...

The only thing we’re sure is that it’s called the LCD-MX4 :)

Who knows how much it’s going to cost? It could still be 1200 and they just changed the name
From Pro. Or it might be a whole different price and target audience.

There’s no way to be certain but then but the lightweight is too similar to ignore and these also align with the generally expected announcement window. I imagine they pivoted the design based on market research and also how the product was coming along.

If they do only introduce an end game studio set, MrSpeakers’ new AEON Open FLOW fits the target demographic who wishes for an affordable neutral & light open planar design. At $800 it is a very intriguing announcement.

It wouldn't also suprize me if Audeze completely replaced their other headphones with metal, the X and LCD-2 Aluminium(small supply but most probably a feeler) already have this. I have had a few Sheduas which chipped with even gentle care. I do love me some wood though!

they are also the heaviest, LCDX is like 600g, big no no
