My i4 is supposed to arrive today. Just wondering has anyone tried it with the Ifi Diablo?

They arrived a few hours ago. For the first time in ages my jaw hit the ground. These are incredible! Im using roon with the audeze eq and everything just sounds incredible. These with the kse1200 are my best audio purchases

Its incredible. I was intending to use them quietly in my home working area. Must admit I've probably listened louder than a fair while just because the sub bass is awesome

Yea, LCD-i4 is one of my Favorites IEM's, out of my Fiio M15 sound awesome, No EQ is required.

I’ve got an m17 but I’ve heard a lot of people mention the m15. That would be a better portable option

Great to hear, I've just been looking at the SP2000T as a portable tube solution, my DX220 just can't provide enough power with the SE tube amp.

I’ve owned and still own a fair few top tier iems (MEST indigo, ier z1r, legend x, u12t, Solaris og, andromeda, ve elysium, ie900, a8000) but these and the kse1200 are on a different level. These really are like a light lcd 4 that I can use for hours with no neck ache! Truthfully I could leave the hobby with these and the kse1200

Have you thought about the kse1500?

Nah. The kse1500 has an older built in dac. Prefer the kse1200 which I can use with my own daps/dacs

Yeah I used to feel no eq required, but after hearing the "tones" produced from cipher cable, I realized the greater level of emotion that could be obtained from the i4, and the looked to somewhat replicate with a far better system than cipher. Now, it's definitely my favorite in ear

Sublime is an overused term but the only thing that comes to mind when I listen to that particular paring in hybrid Amp mode.
