I have tried and owned many expensive cables. Norne makes beautiful cables. I’ve bought probably 5 or 6. Usually the all silver. Expensive but very well made and durable. Even bought the Superconductor cable for my Abyss 1266 Tc. Cables make about a 2-3% difference in sound. In my opinion. If cost isn’t a factor then by all means buy the best. But I would upgrade the rest of your system first. Then if the itch is still there, go nuts.

I like this and agree with you. Cables should be the last tweak you should make once you have your front end components in place. Otherwise, it will be hard to hear the difference that the cable is making even if it's a small change to the sound.I have tried and owned many expensive cables. Norne makes beautiful cables. They don't. Nothing does. It's not real. Or, whatever you think will happen will happen. It's all in your mind.what is the recommended burn in for the LCD-4.... and how much do they change...

Correct, your brain getting used to the sound is the rest of the story.FR dosent tell the whole Story

I'm fairly certain Audeze "burns-in" the drivers before they are even in the headphones and then they run them again once assembled. I've seen FR tests where there is burn-in and ones where there is none. Crucially though, every time burn-in was capture through FR, it was a cheaper (sub 300 USD) traditional coil driver type. I've never seen measured burn-in with an Audeze.

Sure but look at the FR of the LCD 2 and LCD 4. Do they sound the same in terms of quality of the Bass and other qualitys? You cant messure those. Maybe the quantity but not how they deliver.

I don't think a question of burn in time is necessary since they stopped making the headphone and all LCD 4's are all "burned in" by now.what is the recommended burn in for the LCD-4.... and how much do they change...
Audeze burn in all Headphones for i think 24 hours before they shipped. So all Headphones are from factory side burned in. In my opinion it dosent matter. Either you like the Headphone or not.I don't think a question of burn in time is necessary since they stopped making the headphone and all LCD 4's are all "burned in" by now.

Great! So any "changes" you hear over time are your brain playing tricks on you via confirmation bias.Sure but look at the FR of the LCD 2 and LCD 4. Do they sound the same in terms of quality of the Bass and other qualitys? You cant messure those. Maybe the quantity but not how they deliver.
Everytime you put your Headphone on, you have to put it exactly the same position or you can get another FR out of it. So its a few points to consider. But FR is not the best tool to messure the quality of what you hearing.Great! So any "changes" you hear over time are your brain playing tricks on you via confirmation bias.
