I also could not find it. Perhaps it is no longer available. I am loving my LCD4’s. My Utopia’s are getting dusty but I listen to my LCD-XC’s sometimes. The Utopia’s are nice. but I end up listening to the 4’s most of the time. They sound good with my Moon 430 HA but I needed to upgrade my digital cables which were weak links. The Moon shows off everything before and after it.

Thanks, that looks pretty cool to store one's TOTL can. I cannot help but feel that the holder will stretch out comfort straps in due time. It would've been nice for the holder to provide some clearance underneath it to tuck comfort straps in there. I replaced my HEKv1 leather strap recently and it was something that I don't wish to do again anytime soon. At least with Audeze, replacing the leather strap simply entails loosening of four screws.

The LCD-4 strap basically touches the headband on mine. So I don't think it will stretch. Other headphones may be different.

I'm very happy with Audio Sensibility out of Canada for my LCD-4 cable. He has the science on his side:

Any tips on where to buy the LCD4's? Is it better to just fork out $4k to Audeze themselves? Or is it just as good to get it from a reseller like this or used on the forums here, or so?

The original LCD4 was 100 Ohms. That is the one that had driver failures. They then went to a 200 Ohm driver, which seems to have solved failure issues. Then there is the LCD4z. The 4z is 25 Ohms. If you don't have a fairly powerful amp or want to use them with a portable amp, I would get the 4z. If you have a larger desktop amp, I would recommend the LCD4.

My current sources are Apogee Duet, and a Lootoo PAW Gold. I might buy a new desktop amplifier, if it makes sense. Maybe a Chord Hugo 2, or something else at that price level. My main interest is vocals, both choral and individual.

Audeze themselves sold them last year as black friday deal for 2500$ (b-stock tho)

I'd wait another two weeks, maybe the deal returns
