When you say "Quality Dac" what example would you give for that?

The "Elise" looks nice. Do they only ship from their web site... not an option to order on other sites like Amazon?
I'm looking for an option that will have really good bass options.

You have to order the Elise directly from their site. The dac I'm running is a Hegel HD12. I love it.

Hi,

I'm on the hunt for a Head Phone amp to accompany my Audeze LCD-2 Headphones. I currently have a NuForce HA200 (http://www.optoma.co.uk/soundproduct/HA200) which I think I'm going to return as I don't feel it offers enough power for the top end volume and I do miss the option to add more bass when I want it. Just seems to lack what I want. I bought the two as part of a Black Friday combo deal with the agreement that I was able to return it if I did not like.

So I guess I'm looking for a amp/Dac combo to replace the NuForce HA200.

Any recommendations for the UK market please?

Get a Burson and don't look back. This is the best synergy with the Lcds. I've heard so many amps with the Lcds and nothing beats a Burson/LCD pairing for prAt especially.

I know I am late to the party but one question:
Would standard rotel integrated amp (RA-1572) be enough to at least get some of the full potential of an Audeze lcd2? I’d consider buying an dedicated amp later but would want to listen and try it out beforehand (no listening opportunities in tire right now). The rotel amp has a supposedly alright dac inside.

for my lcd-2cb works perfect cheap 50eur amp with double 3eur value 6np3 tubes. warm tube sound with pounchy bas,clean mids and superior highs. Do i need to see at better tubes with 20eur value to buy?
