So +1 vote to eikon suede pads for the Atticus. I was keeping the ori lambskin pads on them to have a different sound than my auteurs, but I really just must prefer a more balanced sound signature.

Can anyone recommend a good tube amp that would also work well with planars like the Arya? I currently have a Feliks Echo that I'm using with my Atticus but also have an Arya but since the Echo is better for high-impedance headphones I'm thinking of upgrading to a more suitable amp that would work for both headphones

ZMF Pendant is a good choice.

Can anyone who has used the Bifrost 2/Jotunheim 2 with the Atticus comment on their experience so far?

Currently have the BF2 but have been looking into getting either the Jot2 or the Singxer SA-1.

At the moment I have a pair of Verite Closed and the MDR-Z1R. I've been revisiting the idea of maybe picking up the Atticus and then keeping one set between the Atticus and MDR-Z1R to complement the VC.

For what it’s worth, I had an LCD-XC that paired very well with the Echo.
While I have not tried the Arya with it, the XC is under 30 Ohm (25?) and sounded great with the Echo and did not require a high volume setting. The Echo also never struggled to keep up with dynamic passages or deep bass. Quite the contrary- the XC’s bass was rock-solid on trip-hop tracks, albeit perhaps a smudge looser/less detailed than with the Violectric V200 (solid-state)- but that is literally a hair-splitting point, especially with the Echo’s other virtues…

I'm really digging my Atticus with Bifrost 2/Jotunheim 2. I have also ordered Verite C and should receive it by the end of next month.

There are two beautiful camphor trees in my back yard but I had no idea camphor can also make music sound very good until...
