Athena AS-B1 + T-Amp combo question

Waiiitt ... all this talk about speaker wire is confusing me o_O (total noob alert). This setup certainly looks tempting but I'm not sure I get it.

What sort of connections do you need? Just naked wire into the T-amp and AS-B1?

t-amp and speakers both take bare wire, HOWEVER, speakers can also take whats called banana plugs. what else are you confused about?

*Scratches head* Just trying to make sure there isn't some connectivity requirements I'm missing.

So a complete set-up requires: T-amp, AS-B1s, Speaker wire (cheap from radio shack or similar) and a mini-mini?
