My friend's in Akihabara today probably again on Saturday.

I'm guessing your friend's tried the usual first-stop? Fujiya Avic?

I just checked soundhouse and they don't have it. Usually at that point I'd go online or just eat the higher price from Yodobashi.

I'm not sure how much longer you friend will be staying in Japan, but if you give PriceJapan.com 5 days notice, they can deliver the item at where he's staying.

I tried Fujiya Avic, but they are out of stock (more than 5 days to deliver).

I also got a Price Japan quote, but the delivery time is too long even for Japan internal delivery (my friend will have left the country). Or to put it another way, I should have asked them earlier.

Now I'm done to Dynamic Audio and randomly selected Akiba shops, but hope springs eternal
