You can use the HiFiMan ones or Audio-Technica AD900X pads fit them, or if you want something really classy the AT leather ones from the W5000 and ANV-W3000 (pricey though).

Conquerator did a comparison of them all, use the "search this thread" function and find his comparison - he concludes the HiFiMan pleather ones are the "best", but to his tastes.
Personally I'm going to try the HiFiMan velours.

I don't recommend the AD900X velours, they sounded bad although comfy.
Of the cheaper choices I recommend the 900X pleather [smallest diameter] and HiFiMAN pleathers/velours.

I tried looking around for hifiman velour pic , dont they have this black plastic ring on the attachment ? Do I took them off first ?
 
I know for a fact you cant put beyer velour on it like the hifimans

Yes, the rings are easily removable. The leather is just put over, no glue.

then I just sleeve it over to the W1000x? can you show me pictures of them , so I can get an idea on how to sleeve them , since I sort of remember one side of the w1000x is actually bigger than the other

hmm I'll have to try the Hifiman Velours, I have a spare pair lying around actually!
 
But I went with L3000 Pads my self, which where $100 they doo sound amazing though
 
and with regards to price, the DX1000 is know to have cracking issues.... EWWWWWW and last time I checked it was selling for around $700-1000 or so depending on who you bought it from. Last time I REALLY wanted one it was a $1000 headphone, I still think the LCD XC would be better, plus some one told me in a pm that the DX 1000 likes bright sources.... which is to me NO GOOD, as my closed headphones are portable only and my portable source is the OMG ORGANIC hm801 xD
 
I think the LCD XC will be my next upgrade <3. I might even list my D2k and W1000x in a month to see if I can just JUMP up to the LCD XC, spent about $700 on both after ALL the mods >.>

Fostex TH900 is definitely cheaper by a good margin. Heck, you can even get a Denon D7000 that would sound almost (99%) like the TH900 for $700-$800.

In its defense, I must admit the LCD-XC is a very nice headphone. It images very well, and it has a very black background. I almost wanted to replicate its imaging capabilities while modding the DT770, but I finished my mod with a more midrange-centric sound instead. I guess I'm a midrange-head until the end.

im not a fan of any headphone that likes bright sources.  to me, the energy of a bright source/amp only masks the initial attack of a headphone that could show it's true flaws of low level, initial detail which to me, if masked, is cancelling out a huge part of the musical enjoyment.  so if it needs a bright source, there's probably something it's trying to hide

The Beyerdynamic T1 is a really stunning phone and deserving of flag ship status, its also a very comfortable to wear for extended listening it falls in that $700-$800 price bracket.
