Hello, I'm new here and this MAY be the wrong section but seems correct. I'm going to be getting the ATH M50s after much research debating over them and the Beats Pros. I'm going to be doing the detachable cable mod for convenience and had an idea. While I was putting together my cart with everything I thought of the Turtle Beach headsets with the detachable mic. I myself use Skype often and use a separate headset just for the mic. I was looking for a 3.5 mm jack that has the 4 poles needed but then I realized that I'd also have to get wire to run through the headset if I were to put the mic on the opposite can of the cord.
 
Would this be difficult to run the extra wire for the mic through the headset internally?
Would you do it?

That would make things easier but I prefer a challenge. I may consider it if this becomes too involved.
