Alright so my m50s have a part of the actual plug chipped off, but nothing wrong with the wire, what do I have to do to fix them. I've seen a ton of threads concerning soldering and recabling( I have no idea how to do this) but I just need to figure out how to put a new plug on it. What should I do?

Below you can see an example of what the plug will look like when it's done(note: The crimp strain relief (marked with green arrows in the pic above) has been cut off on this plug).
 

^Hard to see, but the non-insulated copper strands that were inside the cable have been soldered to the point marked with yellow in the top pic.
