Too soon to tell anything. Too much hype, very few credible impressions. I guess after Prolines fiasco, many are just extra careful about this brand.

What PROlines fiasco?

I have a pair of PROlines 2500 which IMO are really nice sounding. Thanks.

As for price I guess I am just looking for the best bang for the buck under $700.

You can buy quite a few phones with $700, specially if you can also consider second-hand.

How about the ATH-AD2000 for the AT lines ? I don't own these, but I'd heard them at the meet.

AH-D2000 is another candidate. If you like the D2000, you can upgrade to the D5000 easily. If you don't like them, you can resell and recoup most of your money.

You can also explore other options like Grado/Allessandro MS2i, HD600 with Cardas, HD650 with Zu Mobius, or BD DT880.

That is a good idea. I guess my main concern is comfort. My head is very sensitive to pressure so I get headache easily. I sold my K701 and K501 for that reason. Since they are the same design, they put too pressure on the top and side of my head. I can only wear them for 30-60mins before my head starts to hurt.
