Asus Xonar Essence STX Work?

Didn't know where else to put this but was wondering if this soundcard will work with my current computer. Here are some specs:
 

Motherboard

N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX (Alvorix)

  1. Manufacturer: Foxconn
  2. Form factor: uATX
  3. Chipset: AMD 785G
  4. Memory sockets: 4 x DDR3
  5. Front side bus speeds: 1333/1066/800MHz
  6. Processor socket: AM3

    1. 1 PCI Express x16 slot for graphics card
    2. 3 PCI Express x1 slots
    3. 1 PCI Express x1 minicard slot

Yup....you should be fine.
 
You just need the PCI express slot to plug it into.
 
Great upgrade over your onboard sound and the headphone amp is very good on the card.

I'm not fully tech savvy so what exactly do you mean? What do I need to do for it to go in the computer?

Get card....install in PCI Express slot....ibstall Asus Software and you are done.
 
May have to turn onboard sound off in your bios, or it may be fine without doing that.
 
Pretty easy really.
