I definitely want to put 3 Burson V7s on my STX II since I've seen they came out. A bit pricey for my blood right now, but I'll get them eventually. I'm glad to hear they do improve the sound. I actually have 3 V5s on mine right now. I love the sound, but I'm betting the V7s will be a huge improvement. Thanks for the confirmation!

Would Burson Audio® made a V7i low-level hybrid op amp. Same clearance as the V5i, so the V7i would clear the RF shield on the XONAR STX (original).

In my experience RF shield does not play big role...you can compensate for the removal by adding good hi-fi power cable (Chord Signature power has certain 'silence'& Wireworld SpacePort 6 has similar effect, they make nice combo for filtering noise from the mains).
