Am I mistaken, or did Tom's Hardware run HD800 on integrated onboard audio and conclude it was identical to a $1500+ Dac/amp?

The superluxes have *excellent* audio positioning. At least the one I have. I think it's cheaper too. Forget about gaming, they're just a good deal in general. Hd668b may be a little bit harder to drive so I would personally go for the hd681 evo.
Wouldn't surprise me. Tom's hardware sometimes shills though so it may be a little biased
