Not sure. Other players such as the SP1000M do not treat them as 3 separate genres. While the SR25 has the same UI as other AK players, the underlying OS was completely rebuilt from the ground up, so it may support. I do not have a SR25 at home to test. I asked one of our customer support people to test with the SR25 he has at home. I will let you know.

My favorite dap original Kann , I love the velvet smooth mids,,, and the weight on every note
Plus original Kann has high and low gain
SQ only,,, would the sr25 sound better than the Kann?

I haven’t been on here in ages, so forgive me if I seem rather behind the curve!
I have an AK100mk2, which I have been fairly pleased with. It’s paired with JHA16 (mk1s) and from time to time a Chord Mojo. I'm OK with the soind straight out of the AK, but much prefer it through the Mojo. The latter is just a pain in the ass to travel with - 95% of my listening is/was done on a plane with flac files in various flavours downloaded to an SS card from Qobuz.
I haven't looked at another DAP since getting the AK a bit over four years ago, so my question is: how much of a step up from where I am now would the SR25 be, with and without the Mojo?

Looking at the SR25 as many of you are. Twister and a few others know me from the Empire Ears thread as I owned Phantom's until last week when UPS crushed them....I'm going to get a new pair of IEM's (Phantom's or above). I sold my AK380cu with matching cu amp last year as I wasn't listening to much portable audio. I'm mostly a 2 channel ultra high end guy (Vandersteen, Ayre, The Memory Player etc...). I hate using my phone for audio. It sucks (iPhone 6s Plus, but will get a new one next year). I don't want to spend more than 1k for a DAP. The SR25 is squarely in the mix as a few of my high end dealers sell the line. I have interest in the ibasso like as well as Fiio and Sony. I haven't heard any of them and it's nearly impossible for me to hear them. I'll be scouring the threads to see what folks think.
The SR25 seems like it's offering a lot for the money though. It will be fun to figure this all out. Thanks for all the posts and information Jason and Twister. Pete
Can I ask why, if having such a massively tilted screen is so ergonomic, that the higher end models like SP1000M and SP1000 do not have tilted screens.
Why is the lower end player subject to this weird design.
If you ask me, the argument that the tilted screen is MORE erconomic than a non tilted one is pure BS/marketing. I agree though, that the tilted screen can be hold in a way that it is natural. Just as natural as you can hold any "regular" screen. The hand and arm are flexible body parts that can be adjusted to many different angles!
Visually, from a pure design standpoint, I love the tilted screen! But I had always been a fan of angled and unsymmetrical designs (basically all A&K designs)!
I have MS and I also have Carpel Tunnel in both wrists due to 'furniture walking' around the house. I won't use my rollator in the house. I haven't had the 15 in my hand yet (I just sold my 380cu), but if I can hold it without having to bend my wrist, then it's a game changer for me. Even typing this, my fingers are tingling. I also have neuropathy so even my last three digits on both hands are always 'asleep' (Carpel Tunnel is when your first 2/3 digits go numb according to my ortho).
Yes, the SR25 supports OpenApp like the SP1000M. The SR25 also has our V-Link app built-in like the SP1000M for YouTube playback. The SR15 does not support V-Link.
