Astell&Kern PD10 DAP with Docking Cradle - Coming Soon

I made a couple of observations and unboxing.

Astell & Kern PD10 and Cradle

So....not being able to use dock with the case on. Wouldn't be a HUGE issue if the case wasn't so hard to get off. The case is the nicest DAP case I've ever seen but it's suppleness makes it very hard to slide the dap out of.

I agree, and obviously you have push it out from the USB-C end. I put a cloth over the port opening and use a pen or key to push it out, as not to scratch it. Not the best scenario. It does feel weird complaining about receiving a nice case.

Hahaha. It does! But when it literally doesn't work with the dock that differentiates the PD10 from any other DAP....it's kind of a big deal.

The sound is beginning to make up for it...there is some mojo in this thing.

The case is loosening up and I am happier....oh boy, feeling a new love affair. The sound is sublime

I have owned so many A&K DAPs that I am still trying to wrap my head around the sound, in a good way. Hopefully, I can put it in words soon. Unfortunately, I don't have any other A&K DAPs with me at the moment. The SP3000m is a great DAP as well, I really liked that one. The PD10 appears to dig into the song and extract the details, yet has a certain warmth about it, thats where the AK smoothness comes into play. In some complex music it dissects the tune to hear the nuances. Sorry, I am fumbling to describe. @vikinguy HELP!
