You are trying to justify your buy all the time, be cool man, many people here said that the sp2000 is on hugo2 level, so all you can do is respect that, democracy is like that, you can have your opinion based in your background, in what you heard all your life, but you can be wrong, right?

Not about this. I have a question for you. You have the m15 and sp2000. They both run the same dual ak dacs. So please tell me. How much better is the sp2000 vs the m15? What are the major differences? You are trying to justify your buy all the time, be cool man, many people here said that the sp2000 is on hugo2 level, so all you can do is respect that, democracy is like that, you can have your opinion based in your background, in what you heard all your life, but you can be wrong, right?

You can always praise the hugo2 on the dedicated room if you want to actually..Not about this. I have a question for you. You have the m15 and sp2000. They both run the same dual ak dacs. So please tell me. How much better is the sp2000 vs the m15? What are the major differences?
The sp2000cu vs M15 thing is the living proof that the same dacs can have diferent sound carácter, the differences between them can be notice in 10 seconds of listening, the sp2000 has more control, more open soundstage and at the same time can be more organic, this is very noticeable, the M15 is more thin sounding but still a very good sounding dap but it misses a layer of sound that sp2000cu has in the bass and mid bass that makes the sound more refined and bigger, and this has nothing to do with the filter selection option, I tried all, the diference remains, and about the price diference, is a nonsense think that because it cost 3 times more it has to play 3 times better, who has been in this audio world for some time knows that to have 10% or 15% better you have to spent 3 or 4 times more, specially at this TOTL level that both daps areNot about this. More like it the pocket...)) Saying this as a former user of iFi Micro iDSD as a portable device.portable is in the eye of the beholder.
Let's make a photo challenge with a portable audio device of preference in a pocket!)
Seriously, sharing opinions is what we are here for, and knowing that Hugo2 for some people is way better than SP2000 is precious, but the following "holy war" (is this term still used this days?) gets really annoying. Can we please stop?

Focal Stellia w Arctic cable. This combo is the most satisfying portable combo I’ve had. The Hugo2 2Go combo sounded great- perhaps the bass was more articulate than the sp2000- but i prefer the midrange smoothness and clarity of the sp2000 / stelia combination. That being said, the user interface, or lack thereof, on the Chord setup made me want to hurl the whole thing out the window. I work with media servers all the time, and this combo just sucks in its current iteration. I want to turn on my gear and listen- i don’t want to futz around with anything- I just want music. The unreliability of The 2Go connections was one of the most frustrating things ive ever dealt with in audio. Ever.2go getting better. it IS appreciably better than the SP2000. Zero questions asked. What HP were you using? That said it is particularly magical with the right synergy... Audeze tuned the 4Z with H2... this pairing is probably the best portable solution in existence.

The bass on Hugo2 2Go was definitely the "wow factor" I'm referring, but extended listening at least to my preferences that the SP2000 is still the more nuanced, more resolute player than the Hugo2 across the frequency, just that the Hugo2's bass wants to be noticed while the SP2000 just plays there and slowly reveal to you its better nuanced traits which to my preferences will suck me into music much longer, just like how a really good DAC/DAP/system should sound

I think I can turn ‘more nuanced’ into conveying more subtle variation in timbre and tone, or able to produce greater and more subtle emotional responses....the SP2000 is still the more nuanced, more resolute player...
But what doe a ‘more resolute’ player sound like?

It think it relates to the same thing except the subtle variations in time and tone are delivered in a way that it does not sound forced (there are DACs that shove those subtle timbre and tone variations too forward to my liking), rather than flowing more convincingly lifelike (or slightly more emotional engagement), but we're taking this too far as this emotional engagement are seriously obscured by our physical fatigue, mood, etc. at that point in time.
Agree. Chord needs to step up its game here...Focal Stellia w Arctic cable. This combo is the most satisfying portable combo I’ve had. I think without doubt we can agree that TT2 + MScaler sounds better than sp2000. Quite a bit. Anyone... untrained newbie... can hear it immediately. I am talking about a similar difference between H2GO and sp2000... just not as extreme.... I have done tests with non headfiers.... everyone pushes the sp2000 away after hearing H2go... I have no skin in this game and tbh I would be happy if sp2000 won as it is smaller.... but this is just not the case....I think you will only find these hardware zealots on headfi that feign reality.... and have confirmation bias... synergy also has something to do with it... important to consider... H2go would NOT have given a great experience with my susvara. I was bashing chord and held off on Hugo 2.... never heard it... ever.... but decided to test the package of H2go and was shocked.... shocked how Much better it was than other daps. Personally the chase has ended... I really don’t think we will get something better unti Hugo 3 with streamer. when on my hikes with H2GO + 4Z I am quite astonished I am walking around with this kind of SQ.It think it relates to the same thing except the subtle variations in time and tone are delivered in a way that it does not sound forced (there are DACs that shove those subtle timbre and tone variations too forward to my liking), rather than flowing more convincingly lifelike (or slightly more emotional engagement), but we're taking this too far as this emotional engagement are seriously obscured by our physical fatigue, mood, etc. at that point in time.

Maybe but I think what many dont factor in is volume and power. With these powerful amps, the first thing you notice is the power.
