Like is your wifi purely 2.4ghz? I worry that my Google mesh could be the issue, but again I have zero issues streaming hires from my phone, Mac, Naim Streamer etc.

I have both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands turned on

Like twenty years ago ... but It's nearly working in my office with 2.4/5ghz wifi .. at home with some MESH and Wifi 6 in the environment.. I can only use an android 10 smartphone sharing my wifi to avoid drops.

Choppy music is played when I play a 24-bit 192kHz song (FYI It is Coldplay - the scientist)

Just tried that song, and yes, I experience what you describe. I did, however, just listen to the Ben Harper album Burn to Shine in it‘s entirety without issue.

Just an update on this. I turned off bluetooth and this fixed the issue (even though I wasn't using it).

I gave up with Qobuz and I'm now trialing Apple Music, works flawlessly with my Kann Alpha, but is there not a way to stream 24/192 via the APK to the Kann? Would you really have to have an external dac with the Kann. Not saying I can tell the difference between 24/96 and 24/192 but curious regardless

The latest APK from apkpure.com streams 24/192 natively.

Probably one of the rare things working correctly with the Kann Alpha .. with the latest qobuz apk, I get the correct 24/192 out of Qobuz through the optical output.

Just an update on this. I turned off bluetooth and this fixed the issue (even though I wasn't using it).

I have tried it again without turning on the Bluetooth. And, it didn't help.
However, when I turn off the WiFi, it gets better for a while(for about a minute).
Then, I tried to download the song and play it offline. The problem still exists.

Do you mean the apple music APK or Qobuz? I got Qobuz to do 24/192 but my issue what I couldn't stream any hires despite having giga bit internet, it would play for 5 seconds then buffer.

can anyone comment on the sound differences between the kann alpha and the zx507? so far, ive only gathered from this thread that the kann hisses more
