The maximum number of installed sideloaded apps are 4. Qobuz, Spotify, Tidal, xapk installer makes already 4. Foobar install was rejected due to the reached limit. So there is no point to collect all the apps, only four of them can be used conveniently in a long run.

Not so long ago I made a post about the last usable Tidal version.

Tidal 2.31 is the last version that works on Android 5. Later versions require Android 6 or above.

Great info and thank you, I'll have to delete one as I'd like to include Pandora. I had not found a version that worked before I had reached the limit of 4, can you help?

Pandora requires Android 7 or later. You might be able to find an old version somewhere, but it's been a while...

Yes I have contacted N.A support - they not only fail to reply on the same day at A & K, they do not reply at all. Their customer service is poor. Ask anybody

Update:

I have an old Fiio X7ii that still runs Android 5. The last Pandora version to support Lollipop is version 1812.2 which doesn't seem to be easy to find.

Once you install via XAPK installer, you can delete the XAPK Installer program.

This is a list of all the supported app versions tested by the AK development team with each player model. These are minimum app versions that should work without issue. Newer versions may work and the list will be updated as newer app versions are tested.

I’m starting to get anxious about the Android version.

@JasonNYC: Considering Android 6 was a modest update (with significant battery life improvements), do we know if A&K plans to update the OS? (The Cube is such a great Gizmo!)

Wifi issues/Tidal Song skipping also my Alpha has issue with 2.5mm and 4.4mm ports, only 1 chanel is working, still waiting for a response from Ripcaster uk(where I bought it from).

WiFi: multiple APs can confuse it (perhaps the big is due to the fact it still runs Android 5). Signal strength goes down if you use the leather case.

Not my experience with the other symptoms. I use both headphone jacks and the mini xlr ocassionally.
