  IE800 small sound stage?  Horrible fit  yes.  Small sound stage...  I'd beg to differ.  

Bring in the EX-1000 and the Kaede II and you will see where I am coming from, in particular the EX-1000.

i like to experiment everytime
I just received my 2.5 female to 3,5 male adaptor so I replace the stock cable with a good low impedance 
the resut : the bass becomes depper and the stage exiting wide (a really improvment againt the short stock cable )
you have to try to believe what exiting can sound the ie800
may be senn can sell a much better cable if they want to compete with the  the new iems rivals

It's often uncomfortable to glasses wearers, increases microphonics, and fights back every time I try to put on a pair of IEMs that have memory wire. It's a personal preference, but memory wire is the devil.
