I have not sold my sp2k yet, so I can compare sp2k and sp3k in some tracks you are interested in, if you want
Sorry for shameless chiming in but may I please ask you to compare them on the following few tracks?

1. Fear Inoculum - TOOL
2. Move - H-Blockx
3. The Wild Boys - Duran Duran

I actually own the sp2000 copper and looking to sell it cause I recently got the Fidelice DAC Rupert Neve model awesome device. I don’t know how the sp3000 compares to the sp2000 but I believe someone already posted a comparison here and it don’t look like much of a difference.
I couldn’t disagree more. I still have my SP2000 and the improvement in sound quality with the SP3000 is very noticeable. I didn’t upgrade for the better UI or 904L steel or goat-skin case. I upgraded for the sound, and in that respect I’m very satisfied with the upgrade.

Is it easy to use and straight forward to organise the album’s and artwork? The other thing I’m wondering is how good FLAC sounds on the Dap. At the moment I have only been listening to Tidal hi-fi and MQA and I don’t think I‘ve heard a FLAC recording (only ever used Apple gear).
In my case some of my album's artwork do not show it on the 3K which is not critical for me since sound quality matter the most for me. If u care about organizing album & artwork stuff etc etc the ripper is a no go though its really convenient. As for FLAC i think it might be a downgrade for u since you are used to Tidal hi-fi, MQA etc

I would need to test it out in person my self, but it's great you're noticing a positive difference. Thanks for the feedback, enjoy!

Ladies and Gents to hear how hard the SP3000 can hit in the bass department check out Bootsty Collins’s The Power Of The One. It’s funkalicious!

What IEMs or HP are you using on this album?
